Regional Directors will be selected from among the most qualified Residence Providers and will have total responsibility for overall regional program management in their local region. They will be responsible for identifying, vetting, selecting and managing qualified Residence Providers and for ensuring the highest quality standards and full compliance are maintained.
Regional Director’s will oversee the coordination, vetting, selection and assignment of client dog-owners with the most suitable Residence Provider. They would also arrange for client-owner dogs to be examined by the local veterinarian to determine their qualification and suitability as a therapy and comfort dog for community service.
Regional Directors will be responsible for payments and disbursements for all expenses incurred by the Residence Provider. They will be modestly compensated based on responsibility and time allocated, plus out-of-pocket expenses.
As the CBF looks to the future, we will be introducing new initiatives to greatly increase the number of food banks participating in the Jazzy’s Place grant program.
