Foster Home Residences are available for dog-owners who do not wish their dog to provide owner visits or community emotional support and therapy services; or for dogs who cannot meet the requirements as an emotional support or therapy dog.

This program is also available to qualified individuals or families who likewise may not choose to provide visitation services to the dog-owner or community services, but at the same time would like to provide a comfortable and loving home for a living or deceased owner’s pet-dog.

Foster Home Residences are also available to dog owners seeking a temporary home for their pet dog due to medical, relocation, divorce, or those encountering a temporary change in circumstances.
 
CRiSP would establish a separate network of Residence Providers who would temporarily accommodate an owner’s pet-dog, and without providing any community services.

In any event, dog owners can take great comfort and satisfaction knowing that there lifelong and beloved pet dog will have a wonderful life in the company in home of a caring family household.

Foster Home Providers who accept these dogs will have veterinarian, food, grooming and other miscellaneous expenses covered by the CRiSP program.
