The Deceased Owners Program is designed for those dog owners who have no suitable alternative home, with friends or family, that could comfortably house and care for the surviving pet-dog upon the owner’s demise.
The CBF will also accommodate the owners request for special handling of their precious pet-dog upon the dog’s demise.
Upon the owner’s demise, as a memorial, Residence Supervisors can voluntarily choose to provide community services including emotional support to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and veteran facilities.
Upon the demise of the pet-owner, CBF-CRiSP would appreciate a charitable endowment, bequest or pledge to assist in covering the cost for maintaining their pet-dog’s well-being during the remainder of its life.
